Miss.Holdsworth’s class have enjoyed making their Christmas hoop ready for the school hall. We all helped colouring in and cutting out carol singers and glittering the musical notes!

Look out for the finished hoop, hanging in the hall, on Tuesday 1^st December!

Homework

Literacy and Numeracy Homework is given on Friday, to be handed in by the following Thursday.

Spellings are given out on Monday and tested on Friday.

Children should spend some time every night practising their reading and learning their spellings.

P.E.

Year 4s have P.E on Tuesday afternoons and on Thursday mornings for the whole class.
Don’t forget a change of t-shirt (white), shorts (dark blue/black) and plimsolls.

Trainers may be worn for outdoor games.

Library

We have a library session each week, on a Friday, when we change our library books. Books may be kept for 1 or 2 weeks at a time.

Music

All children in Year 4 will learn to play the trumpet and the violin as part of their music curriculum.
